almost missionary time!

WELP, I'm about done with all that there is to do before I take off! I just need to put together a first aid kit and give my farewell talk this sunday! Im actually really nervous for the talk hopefully it wont suck!

Im headed home now for the next 20 days! Cant wait to do some family lovin!!! Im really going to miss them while Im away !

MORE WEDDINGS TO BLOG ABOUT!!! I love these people and was able to be apart of their special days! I am so glad I had the oppertunity to be at their weddings ! They were both so fun and I want you guys to know I LOVE YOU ALL AND AM SO ECSTATIC FOR YOU GUYS

No place like HOME!

I hope everyone's Christmas was So wonderful! Mine was great! I started it off on the 18th celebrating the wedding of one two of my best friends Marybeth and Matt Edwards! The wedding was BEAUTIFUL and so fun. Congrats you two! I love you both!

Then I got to home to WARM arizona! So nice to be back with my family and friends. Also, THE WEATHER IN AZ IS INCREDIBLE. I love it! I have been busy every day but its been so so great. Here are a couple of pics. I have been able to visit lots of friends and family and its just been so so wonderful.

I went through the temple on Tuesday night and it was super special and awesome.

We had a family Christmas party on Thursday and Santa came!!!! The kids LOVE IT! so did I!

They acted out the nativity scene and it was so fun!

On Christmas Eve My cousins came over and we went out for a ride with my dad! So fun!!

Christmas morning was awesome... I got some cool gifts for my parents this year so it was fun!!

Now I am in Utah with my best gal cece! Aubri and Yance are getting married as well as Fatty and Ben so she is here with me to spend some time together before the mission! We are already having a blast! Ill post pics of our adventures soon!

On Christmas morning we went over to Trevor and Meg's house to see what Santa brought the girls... He brought SNOW!!! So fun. Love this pic of pres!

YESSSSSS

YESSSSSS! I'm done with FINALS! HOLLLLLA AT YO GIRL!haha

I had three finals this semester and im glad to be done with them... ESPECIALLY portuguese. I loved the class but I'm not sad its over :) Part of my portuguese final was an oral exam where I had a conversation in portuguese with another instructor....always a humbling experience. Pretty much had no clue what he was saying.... every time he asked me a question i responded with a totally off topic random question because that was all i knew how to say! Whatever... I passed so its all good! TCHAU MINHA CLASE DE PORTUGUESE! That means "bye my portuguese class!" Not bad huh?

Now, all I need to do is pay all of my parking tickets so I can get my grades... (they wont admit my grades until they're paid) and SELL MY DANG HOUSING CONTRACT! Its harder than it seems! I dont want to have to pay to live in a place that I dont even live in! So, pray for me guys! I need to sell it bad! I know it will work out...Im buying some "for rent" signs today to put out front and around campus.

**Some great news, It's snowing today! Finally! It's pretty much the first time it has snowed and actually stuck a little... i hope it stays that way! Feels more life christmas with the snow!

Here is my run down before I head into the MTC:

-Work my last day at Nordstrom today :( SUPER BITTER sweet.

-Marybeth and matt get married this week

-Sunday the 18th fly TO MY HOME SWEET HOME :)

-go through the temple on the 20th

-see the family and celebrate CHRISTMAS yeeee!

-fly back to utah on the 26th for Aubri and Yance's wedding (27th) and Fatty and Ben's wedding(5th)

-Go back to arizona on January 5th

-Have my farewell on January 8th

-Leave for Utah on January 23rd

-Enter the MTC on January 25th and start my 18 month mission!

I am now focusing on packing up my place and getting things organized to store for 18 months...

*This week I want to hike the Y 3 more days before I take off! Probably my last 3 times before the mission! If you want a GREAT work out, Go hike Y mountain....kicks your butt.

I am just so excited to be able to get to go home to ARIZONA to spend my Christmas with my sweet family and friends. This is my most favorite time of year because I get to be with the people I love most. This Christmas will be especially sweet because it will be my last time with my family for 18 months. I am so grateful that I will get to take a break from work and school and be with the most treasured people in my life before I leave for my mission!!!

Some other HUGE NEWS!

One of my best friends forever AUBRI SALAZAR is engaged to a real winner! A GREAT guy named Yance. He is from Idaho and is a straight up farm boy! They are so in love and are so awesome together. I am so excited for them! I was able to be there and be a little part of their engagement and it was so awesome and EXCITING! here are a few pics! Love you guys!

time for the Holidays !

November came and went FAST and was a great month! My bday was great and so was Thanksgiving. My parents came up which is always so awesome. We hung out almost everyday and I loved it so much. They are they best people I love them! Thanksgiving day this year was not the best for me because I was so sick! It was super random but I was in bed all day! Luckily my mom saved me a plate of food so I got to eat on Black friday after work!

Speaking of Black Friday, Nordstrom was CRAZY! Which is a good thing! I don't know if everyone has heard but a couple of weeks ago, Blake Nordstrom came to the store and announced that it would be closing on February 24th. It was totally shocking for everyone to hear and I am so sad about it! 170 people that I love are now looking for new jobs. I will leave for my mission and everything so Im not really affected by the news like my coworkers... I am super bummed because I was planning on working for the company all throughout college! It's all good though. I have LOVED working for nordstrom. Selling shoes has been so fun!!! They are so good to their employees and I have been able to develop some awesome friendships over the last 2 years.

Time is really moving fast and I am glad about it for the most part! ONLY ONE MORE WEEK OF CLASS YESSSSSSS. I am SO EXCITED to be done with classes and finals! My last day here is December 18th. I cant wait to get home to my family and friends! Ive got a long list of things I want to do with them before The big MISH! So, meghan, dani, and vanessa, if you are reading this, I want to take the kids Christmas caroling, to the christmas lights at the temple in mesa, and more! I can't wait to see you guys! I have been listening to the Justin Bieber christmas cd non stop and I cant wait for christmas! Also, are we drawing names this year or what! Will one of you comment and tell me or text me or something.

I am pretty much set with all of my mission clothes and skirts! I leave in like 8 weeks.... Isn't that kind of weird?! Already! I am really excited and so glad Ill be getting to spend sometime at home before I leave.

Every single year ever since I was little, my family and I go to "Music and the Spoken Word" held in the conference center on temple square! Its one of my all time fav Christmas traditions! The Momon Tabernacle choir sings all sorts of Christmas songs and the place is decorated beautifully! Then we walk over to the Marriot and have the all you can eat buffet breakfast and its soooooo dang good. Belgian waffles by the stacks... I always have to unbutton my skirt after but what ever! You've only got one life right suckas!
